Once upon a time, on a quiet little cul-de-sac, in a peaceful little Delaware town, I had the idea to start roasting coffee. And as the amazing aroma spread through the air...people started buying our coffee...and they realized that there really IS a difference between freshly roasted coffee, and, well, just coffee.

Pike Creek Coffee Roasterie imports the finest Arabica beans from around the world, and roasts them to perfection in 5 lb. batches. Many of our beans are organic and fair trade certified. We roast to order for local coffee shops and gourmet establishments, and most recently were honored with the critics choice "Best of Delaware" award by Delaware Today magazine (for coffee, upstate).

In 2008, this little coffee company outgrew its teeny little building, and it moved to lots of space in Wilmington. And at the same time, a wonderful local supermarked named Zingos gave us the unique opportunity to open a little coffee shop and roasterie there. With a great team of employees, a loyal cadre of very helpful friends, and fueled by caffeine and a love for what we do, we are excited to share our story and our coffee with others. Be assured that every bean you order has been hand-roasted; every grosgrain ribbon hand-tied; and every label hand-written. We have a passion for coffee, and for customer service, so if you are ever not 100% happy with your coffee purchase, please let us know. We will make it right, or refund your money.
